According to various media outlets, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker (R) has won his recall election, prevailing against Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett (D). Walker had previously beaten Barrett in the regular election of 2010. Due to provisions of the Wisconsin Constitution, lieutenant governor Rebecca Kleefisch, who had been elected on a ticket with Walker in the regular election, faced a separate recall vote.
