Pro-Life Display Stolen, Trashed

From the New Guard via Pat Dollard:

At 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, the Young America's Foundation chapter at DePaul University set up a display of 500 flags (half blue, half pink) to remember the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision.  Around 5:00 p.m., some YAF members went to remove the flags, to find out that they had already been removed and stuffed into trash cans.  Videotape evidence suggests that several "females" removed the flags at around 4:30.  Read more at the above links.

DePaul is a Catholic school.  It's pretty bad when even pro-life students at a Catholic university can't have their freedom of expression respected.

Union Supporters Attack AFP Tent

During a protest against the new right-to-work legislation in Lansing, Michigan, some people protesting against the new law tore down a tent put up by Americans For Prosperity, a group in favor of it, while some people were in the tent.  Rightwing reporter Steven Crowder, trying to find out what the protesters had against the right-to-work law, found himself dealing with a knuckle sandwich.  These videos were put on Twitter by several people I follow:

Thugs Beat Up Son Of Wisconsin State Senator

During the early morning hours of this past Friday, Sean Kedzie, son of Wisconsin State Senator Neal Kedzie, caught someone removing a Romney campaign sign from in front of his residence in Whitewater, WS.  After he yelled at the thief, telling him to return the sign, the thief and an accomplice attacked Kedzie, putting him in a choke hold and beating him on the head.  After a neighbor scared off the attackers, Kedzie was rushed to a local hospital, treated and released.

The Washington Free Beacon finds that women employed by the DNC make 15% less than their male counterparts.

The Boston Herald reports that DEMOS, a non-profit group that likes to sue states into sending out voter registration cards to people on welfare, has included the daughter of Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren on their board of directors.  (Via the Weekly Standard)

From the Canada Free Press, Brian Ross, who previously tried to link the theater shootings in Aurora, Colorado to the Tea Party movement, calls the man who killed seven people at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin a member of the "right wing".

From Watchdog, an oil boom in eastern Montana is giving the state the "illusion of prosperity".

The Wall Street Journal notes that the Dow has had only 4 "up" days this month.  The last month with this few occurred over a century ago.  (There are still a days left in May, so this dubious distinction could still be avoided.)
